I. The Nature of the Work:  We make observations, not conclusions. In the hands of the Institute, we push 'Pataphysical solutions to their extremes to test the limits of what makes us human. If you find the material challenging or offensive, recognize it as an invitation to move beyond a factual life into a principled one.

II. Viewer Discretion: This archive explores the Extremes of Human Behavior. It contains themes, language, and theatrical explorations that are extreme and raw. It is not intended for the "thin-skinned" or those seeking didactic, scripted morality.

III. Fair Use & Educational Intent: This site is a non-profit philosophical and historical archive. All materials are presented for the purposes of commentary, criticism, and education under the principles of Fair Use (17 U.S. Code § 107). We preserve these relics to ensure the creative life remains free to the public.

IV. The State of Clarity:  By proceeding, you agree to take all doubt from the mind. Doubt opens paranoia; the work of the Institute leads to Clarity.

This is the home of some of the most unusual, compelling and profound theatrical work the world has ever seen! It may not make sense at first - and may never - but you're not here to make sense of anything, you're here to  experience the work of one of the 20th Century's most important absurdists, Demetrius Toteras, and his principal students, Uncle Tad Baker and the members of Universal Thought, the Northern California Collective Consciousness (N.C.C.C.) and The Institute of Absurdity!
